Storm path is too far east on the map. Instead of passing east of Rt. 28, at least part of the tornado passed west of 28, around Chantilly and Pleasant Valley golf courses. I can state this with reasonable certainty based on other documents I've seen on the web, including a YouTube video taken from, essentially, directly under the (erroneous) path. (also, the erroneous path goes right over my house, and it wasn't damaged at all in the storm).

I chased this tornado and caught it on video. It was just to the west of route 28 and intensified into a large wedge tornado before our eyes and our camera. Luckily there were no structures nearby when it became this massive. We followed it to the sharp turn at Martinsburg Road where it then rose back up and continued to move in a north to N/E direction as an ominous dark funnel cloud. From what I understand it moved into Fredrick County and touched down again, not sure if this was the same one or not, haven't gotten clarification.
I have chased in the "Alley/Midwest", have seen my share, and by all means, this was a powerful tornado, especially for Montgomery/Frederick county.
