Welcome to the Tornado History Project!

Are you a tornado enthusiast? Do you remember a tornado from your childhood, but wonder when it happened? Do you wonder what path it took, what Fujita rating it was assigned, or if anyone was injured? If so, this site is for you!

The Tornado History Project is a searchable, sortable database of tornado statistics based on official Storm Prediction Center (SPC) tornado records from 1950-2006. Results of your search can be viewed in the form of raw data or on a Google Map. Plus, users can leave comments/share memories of any tornado in the database.
