Map marker is incorrect. Path actually started about a mile and a half due south of current marker and continued due east from there for the 7 mile length. I eyewitnessed from about a quarter mile to the north of the tornado, paralleling in a vehicle until dissapation. Tornado appeared to intensify into F3 range briefly but was located in pasture land where it would've been more difficult to discern F rating. A Shopping center was heavily damaged with several vehicles rolled several hundred feet. Shopping center was located at initial touchdown area with tornado remaining stationary for 1-2 minutes after inititiation before beginning to move. Most of the injuries occurred there. Rather unusual due easterly path possibly saved lives, property, and/or injuries. Traditional NE path would have targeted a busy grocery store as well as a much more densley populated and developed area. My house would have also been in dead center of traditional path.
