The official longitude coordinates for this event are incorrect. The tornado actually touched down near Bereah, Florida, which is located in Polk County. Note the "Polk" designation for the "affected counties" section. The coordinates should be 27.67 -81.62. The "2" in "82" should be "1." Thomas P. Grazulis (1993) states, "FL APR 15, 1958 1200 0k 7inj 300y 5m F3 POLK -- Moved E, leveling nine small homes near Bereah, 25m SE of Bartow. Only one home was well-built; the rest were frail. A 2,500 gallon water tank was found a mile away." Note that his Fujita scale rating differs from the official statistics, but the location is correct.
